Kristin E Mantyla is an active singer equally on the Opera Stage or as a Concert Singer.
She finished her “Meisterklasse“ degree with the highest honor from the „Hochschule für Musik und Theater - Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy - Leipzig“, in February 2024, where she studied with Prof. Brigitte Wohlfarth and Prof. Regina Werner-Dietrich.
She has been a soloist at the Leipzig Opera, the Icelandic Opera, Mainfranken Theater Würzburg, Theater Altenburg/Gera and Theater Brandenburg as well as being a Soloist at Ettlingen Schlossfestspiele, Reykjavík Opera days, and with Szene 12, Dresden. At the Music University in Leipzig she has sung the leading role in several opera productions and in guest productions in Theater Nordhausen and Opera Dessau.
Kristín performed among few selected singers on the “Stars of Tomorrow” Concert in Opera Leipzig and has been a Soloist at the Berliner Konzerthaus, Bach Fest Leipzig, Rheinsberg Schlosstheater, The Icelandic Opera, Harpa Concert Hall a.o.
